Kinda just wanted to have a discussion about cartoons in general. I kinda wanted to create an ongoing post with cartoon stuff.

For now here are so generic conversation starters.

Are there any shows you're looking forward to?

What are your favorites right now?

Are there any shows you want to critique?

Are there any critics that you follow? (If so who?)

    *insert generic response here.

I'm a sucker for cartoons. Some of my favorites include The Simpsons, Looney Tunes, Hanna-Barbera (Flinstones, Jetsons, Scooby Doo), Rugrats, and Recess.

To answer one of your questions, one that I'm following now is Tangled: The Series. I'm really loving that one.

I also really want to watch Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and Star Wars Rebels, but I haven't had a chance yet.

I love cartoons. Favorites are Avatar The Last Airbender, Justice League, Young Justice, X-Men(the 90's one, X-Men Evolution, and Wolverine and the X-Men, and Star Wars The Clone Wars. I might be missing something but oh well, I'm looking forward to Young Justice season 3 since it's been a few years.

Do you include animation with adult content, because I do like South Park, Some Family Guy, American Dad and Rick and Morty.

I also watch some kids cartoons like Futurama, but anime is more what I watched when I was younger with Yu-Gi-Oh, Dragonball Z and Pokemon and Digimon Animes being the ones watched when I was young.

I used to watch a lot of Hanna-Barbera cartoons when I was little. I'm more into 20th Century Fox now (Family Guy, American Dad, etc.) and whatever Pixar makes.

It's for all animation types. Adult animation is fine.

I've been wanting to get into the Tangled series but I didn't know if it was any good. How do you like it?

I thought we were just talking about TV cartoons. In that case, let me add anything Disney/Pixar to my list, as well as Shrek, Anastasia, Rise of the Guardians, Madagascar, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, and Land Before Time to that list.

Also. How could I forget Charlie Brown/Peanuts?

I like it a lot. I was worried it was going to be cheesy, but it has a nice story to it. At least, I think so anyway. I'm just waiting for Mother Gothel to make a return. I don't want to give away too much, but circumstances on the show could set up her comeback. It's also showing what happens between Tangled and the short film Tangled Ever After, so it's nice to get that part of the story as well.

Are there any shows you're looking forward to?:
Young Justice on Complete DVD set.
Young Avengers. Don't give up a dream.
    Anime:
Digimon Tri, all movies on Eropean DVD set. ((\(>,<)/))
Digimon Adventure, 02, Tamers and Frontier
on (european) Blu-ray set! Again, don't give up believing in dreams!!!
Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge/Tanaka-kun is Always Listless
on European DVD set. (Wish-) Story of my life.
    Blood Lad on European DVD.

What are your favourites right now?:
South Park. Discover that satire on countrys can be funny.
Drawn Together. Big Brother cartoon parody? VG=very good.
X-Men: Evolution. Why is there no (european) DVD set???!
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. One of the rarely good child TVshow.
Phineas and Ferb. Hope it gets kids to imagination again.
    Anime:
Detective Conan. When it's the next time the main plot move forward?
One Piece, waiting for Big Mama arc ending so i can watch it in 1 go.
Himouto! Umaru-chan. Reminds me of Tanaka-kun is Always Listless.

Are there any shows you want to critique?:
The Animals of Farthing Wood. I dare to write this is the 1 important series.
Extreme Dinosaurs. I think it gets judged unfair by the intro.
    Anime:
Pikorîno no bóken/Pinnochio. Life Lessons at a childs eye level.

It's sad that TVshows for kids after 2000 gets terrible and
rarely has as much heart, charm and gets them to think critical of the world.

Are there any critics that you follow? (if so who?):
As long as the characters personality, in non purely parody/comedy,
are as real as people you know i check it out.

I was big into the old cartoons growing up: Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tom and Jerry, Dexter's Lab, Scooby-Doo, the Animaniacs. As I've gotten older my interests shifted into Anime. My current favorites are: Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Outlaw Star, some Gundam series, and the original Ghost in the Shell film and it's spinoff Arise OVAs.

Were any of you into Magic School Bus when that was on? Apparently Netflix is rebooting it with Ms. Frizzle's sister as the new teacher.

I found a website with free cartoons but I'm watching anime on it. Pokemon and the later series of Sailor moon mostly. I tried finding lesbian anime but there's very few on the site and what I did find was way too weird. I don't have many requirements but I do like a show I can actually follow the plot of.

I must be the only person on earth that has never liked anime. It either bored the hell out of me, or was just flat out ridiculous to me.

The stuff I grew up on is still in my heart. George of the jungle, looney toons, scooby doo, felix the cat, the jetsons, smurfs, and its not really a cartoon but fraggle rock. I actually have the entire series on dvd, and yes I watch it regularly. I even have gobo fraggle tattooed on my right thigh.

As for cartoons today, I like family guy, South Park, American dad on occasion, simpsons, drawn together is great.

No, I'm the same way. I never got into anime either, for similar reasons. I just don't see the big draw to it...

I love cartoons! I loved them as a kid and I still enjoy watching them now. I used to like watching Rugrats, Inspector Gadget, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003, but I've also seen some of the '87 and 2012 series), Scooby Doo, Looney Toons, Flinestones, Jetsons, SpongeBob, Fairly Odd Parents, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Spectacular Spider-man, Justice League. I also really liked Transformers Prime (I've seen a bit of the G1 series too) and Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes when they started showing up on TV. I go back and watch a lot of those still. Of the more recent cartoons I like Gravity Falls, Adventure Time, and Steven Universe. Also as I got older I watched some of the other superhero cartoons I didn't see as a kid like Batman the animated series, Superman the animated series, a bit of Spider-man the animated series. There were also plenty of other cartoons like American Dragon, The Life and Times of Juniper Lee, Recess, Kim Possible and a bunch of others.

I feel like no one's really gonna read all that but I just got nostalgic and I really like cartoons! I could have written more too (like other cartoons I liked, which ones I was most into as a kid and which are still my favourites) I just feel like I'm getting a little carried away...

Okay I realized later that I typed "Flinestones" instead of "Flintstones" and I know no one cares or probably even read it but it's been bothering me so I'm just correcting myself out of compulsion...
