Take a deep breath and summon up the 5 seconds of bravery we all have inside for just these situations. Close you eyes and hit the button

I know that feeling oh too well.
Don't pressure yourself, if you don't feel like sending right now, save it and do it another time. At a point your brain goes into "oh what the hell here it goes" mode and it just happens.

At least that's what happened to me when I started coming out to my friends.

Same. The people I've told so far have all been over messages because I wasn't able to speak the words. Just take a deep breath, close you eyes & push the button. You will be glad you did

    Whoo-hoo! Congratulations! (*hug*)

My first coming out was also via text (to a couple of female friends); then in a letter to my parents, and the first time in person to a close friend and her (now ex) husband, and eventually on Facebook. None of those were easy but I am now at a point where I can come out to almost anyone (if I get a vibe they'd be accepting). You will also reach this point, just be patient and don't force it. You will know when the time is right. Here's to many more coming outs for you!

    One thing to add:

"It's better to regret the things you've done than the things you haven't" --(I don't know)

Have you heard this before? I like it
