I have so many, however I'd have to say Christina Grimmie, cause that girl had talent & was super great to her fans!!!
Christina was great. What happened to her was one of the most tragic things ever. So sad! I'd have to say my favorite singer is Michael Jackson though. Truly a legend.
That's a hard one! In terms of purely the voice, I'd probably pick Anohni, Rufus Wainwright, or a young Elton John.
Well, there's Emilie Autumn of course--she's terrific--but I also have a lesser known youtuber who has a voice that I just adore. It's so rich.
Hmmm that's super tough... gonna say the singer from either Evanescence or Eluveitie... they have the most beautiful voices I've ever heard.
For male: Peter Hollens. He does mostly acapella music, he sings all four parts, and he makes amazing videos. And he's local. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yymS1Pb7JfM Female; that's a little less clear cut. Tori Amos, the lead singer of Within Temptation, Evanescence, and a Youtuber who used to put stuff out called Erutan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmbgCBZ86z4 I also have to add into any "best singer" thing the bass from Home Free, Tim Foust.
Alissa White-Gluz. She's a female death metal singer (which is pretty rare) and she is totally badass. She started out in a band called the Agonist (who are pretty good), but then she switched to a band called Arch Enemy (who are awesome).
Corin Tucker. She was in so many bands I like. Heavens to Betsy, Cadallaca, Heartless Martin, Corin Tucker Band, and my favorite band, Sleater-Kinney. Also, I see that Emilie Autumn was mentioned earlier. She's one of my favorites too!
Eh, she's good at what she does, but I don't like growly music. When it comes to more hard music, I prefer Lzzy Hale from Halestorm.
I like so many bands and singers it's hard to narrow it down to just one favorite, but Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Pink, and DNCE are probably my top four..
I'm not super into bands or singers in general. I really love Robin De Jesús, though. He's a Broadway actor, but he sometimes does cabarets and concerts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNCHPx9cibQ
I've recently discovered the magnificence that is Meiko Kaji, a Japanese singer from the 70's. I really like Japanese female voices, because they use their head voice even more than other women do and as a result, their voices are very soft and make for excellent singing voices. But Meiko Kaji just freaking nails it.
