Hi, all! Gay/bi/pansexual older man here. I just discovered EC a couple of days ago and think I'm going to like it a lot. I love the lack of "binary" labels for gender and orientation, and it's the first site I've found that doesn't discriminate against certain generations (like mine). When I was young, I was always interested in older people, and now that I'm older, I'm naturally interested in younger people. It seems to me to be very healthy to b engage with people of different generations. It's important that we communicate across *all* potential "divides" to break them down: cultures, sexual orientations, genders, nations, generations, religions and ethnic backgrounds, etc. etc. Put more simply, I think the more diverse a community is, the healthier and readier it is to confront the challenges it faces. It's beautiful up there, and I love Taos! Came here from the San Francisco bay area over 16 years ago. Wish I hadn't waited that long.
That is neat to hear. It is a great place! I think people either love or hate NM. I love the area. Others don't see why.
