Favorite Controller?

Just wondering what everyone's favorite controller is for any console, including any USB or wireless PC controller, in terms of comfort, intuition, etc.

 

Gamecube and Xbox 360 controllers for me. The switch controller is actually an improvement over Nintendo's past controllers as well; much more comfortable.

 

I've never played a GameCube game sadly... but the controller looks like it works.
I know from experience that XB360 is pretty good.

 

Without a doubt in mind, the Gamecube controller. It was light, ergonomic and the buttons were cleverly sized and placed according to how often you used them instead of just using the standard cross layout. It had only two drawbacks--the first one was that instead of just having one Z-button, it should have had two bumper buttons, just like it had two trigger buttons; the second drawback was that the C-stick was kind of a piece of shit and could've used a second, real analog stick.

 

Xbox 360.

 

Ps4, N64 or Xbox 360

Wat?

The N64 controller was a piece of shit. Not only did it have a digital stick instead of an analog stick (which BTW broke extremely easily.) but it was also for some reason designed for people with three hands, which you have to admit is sort of a niche market.

While I know it's not the WORST controller of all time--a dubious honor that goes to one of the old Atari controllers--it is by far the worst controller I have ever used and the only bigger design flaw that Nintendo ever made was the Nintendo Virtual Boy.

 

I agree with you.

The N64 console was one of my favorites for the games I played and for the nostalgia, but the controller itself was absolute garbage.

I downloaded Super Mario 64 on the Wii U (while using a classic controller for it) and it made a world of difference when it came to enjoying the game. The joystick on the original was super frustrating.

 

X360

 

Hard to say
First thing I think of is the 360's, not the One's, but if I think about it, I also like the Steam controller. The Gamecube, as said before, is also really good.
Definitely not Playstation controllers, I really hate those but probably just 'cause I'm used to the X-Box controllers though

 

PlayStation controllers for me all the way.

 

I don't like any of the controllers. I've always had playstations however they don't make mini controllers. I only had wee hands. If I have to use the shoulder buttons a lot it gets pretty painful.

 

I like keyboards just because they are probably the most universal

 

PS2, I think purely for nostalgia- otherwise I'd probably say PS4. Never could get behind the Gamecube controller.

 

Xbox 360

 

PS4 remotes fit my hands perfectly. I love them. I hate Xbox remotes because they're so uncomfortable to hold. Wii remotes are pretty cool too

 

Playstation controllers. The design was so good they only refined it rather than reinventing it with each new console.

 

grew up with playstation so i have to pick them feels a lot better than xbox which i have owned before. they are just too big

 

Whichever one currently works with my Xbox 360. Controllers hate me. I've had problems with them for years, always giving out on me. If it works, I like it.
