Does she see herself actively opposing a government which might try to weaken democratic institutions? Was it advice from the British Government or her own interpretation of her constitutional role that led to her withdrawal from the 1975 Australian Constitutional crisis? How exactly would she respond to conflicting advice from one of her governments with the UK government, where such advice affected her role for both countries?
