    Whether this is suicide, an accident or (unlikely) something more sinister, it's a tragic day for a pioneer in law and society to die in such circumstances and at her age.

    I doubt it was a suicide. I'm probably a pessimist, but I'm sure she was murdered; and given the times we're in where another black high court judge was killed earlier this year, it's plausible.

    Unfortunately, sadly, people do commit suicide. Imagine what stress she must have been under?
    Maybe she just snapped? Why does what happened to her have to be something sinister?

    I also believed she was murdered but the only way to possibly maybe know if it was suicide or not is if someone who was around her is able to talk about her mental state as of late.

    Not officially, but all the evidence they currently have points to suicide, and no evidence currently points to anything else. She had recently been prescribed a new drug for her, for depression. Still the police are saying this,

    “We haven’t found any clear indications of criminality, but at this point we can’t say for sure," the NYPD spokesman said
