So a while back I built a new PC, and I didn't have enough cash left over for windows so I installed Linux Mint. Well, I got Windows 10 just a few days ago, and put it on a bootable USB. Then I partitioned my hard drive, and went ahead with installing Windows on said partition, install went just fine, though when I booted up it went straight into windows. So I booted from my Linux Mint USB and ran "grub-install" and "update-grub" from the terminal, It seemed to have worked, but now my PC boots straight into Linux. Any ideas on how to make grub recognize that windows is installed? :help:
First of all make sure you've got backups of your files and data, then try running grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg with root permissions.
Assuming u didnt override the windows partition, u need to click either F2 or F3 or F8 or F10 or F12 or whatever it is your motherboard designer made right when u start the PC u'll get into the BIOS, in there u can choose which operating system u want to boot to
