OMG OMG I just watched the trailer because I hadn't heard of it and I am litterally hooked already. If was deep like about to cry deep. I am going to watch it in a little bit but then we can talk about it.
So, its been a couple of days since the premier of "When We rise." What are your thoughts on it? Have you seen it? And which charcater do you relate to more? My favourite is Cleve Jones because he knows what to fight for, and he always has a smile on his face. I can't wait for the next episode! -Z-2-H
I really enjoyed the interviews with the real people before last night's episode. My bf hadn't seen any of the series but when we watched that I felt like he got caught up
I love it! My favorite character is Roma, and I'm in the middle of the quilt episode. It's an awesome show, I wish it was longer!
People, I absolutely LOVED that show! Even though I live in Brazil, I cannot deny the importance of gay movement liberation in US to a major acceptance of homossexuality in the entire world. It was lovely to know how these so different people contributed to all those conquest in terms of civil rights to LGBT people. It made me desire to rise a flag and show to the world my pride to be a gay guy. We need to fight for our rights, we need!
