So I got a pop up on my computer from my anti-virus saying it has a virus that it can't contain or destroy.
What should I do, I found a program that clams to be able to remove it, should I trust it?
Nothing has actually happened yet, should I wait and see if it does anything?

Download malwarebytes and run a scan. That thing will find pretty much anything on your PC and get rid of it.

What is the program that claims it can remove it? Malwarebytes is good and trustworthy, CCleaner is a nice and friendly to use cleaning program for maintenance by the way. Do not use Norton ! It slows your computer down !

I'm running a scan just to make sure, it says it will take 5 days, is this normal?

No! CCleaner is not nice and not friendly! CCleaner is a big no no. It can :***: your pc, other things and isn't known as Cr*p Cleaner for nothing.

CCleaner is a great program, I have used it for about 10 years now on three different PC's with zero issues. Just don't go around messing with advanced things that you have no idea about.

As far as the topic goes, MalwareBytes should clean everything up with no problems.
