Hi everyone, I came across this page by typing a question into google and I'm happy I did! I'm hoping it brings me some reassurance that what Im feeling is alright. Looking back, I started questioning my sexuality early on but in the past couple of months it's been really making me think because I might like girls, but I've been labeled straight my entire life and have never talked about it (raised in a hard core Christian environment). Anyways it's good to be here!

    Hey TreeGal!

I'm new here too! (Today is my first day as a member on this site) Funny enough, I ended up at this website b/c I typed a question into google too! I've felt that I liked boys and girls since I was in 4th grade, but because I'm a shy, younger person in general (and I'm raised in a Chinese family that luckily isn't homophobic or biphobic but not very well informed on sexual matters, let alone LGBTQA stuff) I've felt as though my sexuality was, and somewhat still is, irrelevant in my life. Still, now being in high school, amidst all the homework and hoping to get good grades, I do feel a bit worried that I'm missing out in social life because I don't have much confidence and that I'm not out. Oh well.

Anyways, it's nice to meet you! :icon_bigg

Hi there. I'm new here myself. This forum seems like a great place to be while questioning. I hope you find all the support you're seeking.

I started questioning in 9th grade, but never thought about it. Then, after about a year, I really started to question and reflect but then I tried to make myself straight again (spoiler: didn't work!). Now, in my second year of college, I am proud to say that I am bisexual (despite my username). It took some serious self-talk and courage to come to terms though. This goes to show that the real you always shines through, despite what society says.

Honestly, I can't remember how I found this site...

I was raised a Catholic, however that was not why I tried to suppress my sexuality. I was the most liberal Catholic out there. My reason for leaving had to do with theology and my belief in multiple Gods.
