If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

I would want to have the ability to earthbend which is based off Avatar the Last Airbender series.

 

I'd like the ability of quicksilver from the xmen. That would be so awesome, to do things lightning fast.

 

Earthbend if I remember seeing the pics, isnt he fighting with wind powers and stuff? Handy stuff especially when remodeling the home!

For me Teleport I would be all set, right now id teleport a kebab, I feel like kebab. I hope I dont accidentally teleport when I am in the shower or anything that would be slightly weird to end up in the Vatican square like that or something.

 

Also from Avatar the Last Airbender I always wanted to bend fire. I love fire in general.

Funny thing is, with all the weak-minded people in power it'd be a real asset for justice. :badgrin:

 

Imagine a vigilante with who makes criminals either turn themselves in or even kill themselves... Scary.

Earthbender has earth literally in it's name, obviously they bend earth and not air... ya silly <3

Good to know there are so many Last Air Bender fans- I love that T.V. series, it was so much better than the other kids programs at the time, it actually had interesting world building and complex characters. Would definately be an air bender- you get to whizz around on little air bubbles!
But if I could have any power? Definately being able to turn into shadows, how do you kill a shadow? How do you know when I was present? It'd awesome.

 

Yikes. I was thinking teleportation too, but that shower idea is way too scary, lol. I think I'd go with Mimicry. Anything you see you can duplicate perfectly. Imagine all the talents you could become instantly good at! Or maybe perfect memory.

 

Power Mimicry. But is that's too much of a smart:***: answer, then I would have the ability to shapeshift and mimic people's voices like Mystique.

 

Being able to duplicate things - I could own a watch/jewellery shop and only have to buy stock once, then never again.

 

The ability to time-travel. I wish I could create a time-machine in so I can go back to certain memories that I wish I could relive and reverse any mistakes I've done in the past. I wish I could experience the same good experiences 5+. Also, I would love to find out what things were like in certain years in the past and current century. I would love to go back to all my good memories.

 

I would definitely have to choose Phillip Fry's 100 cups of coffee.

Time-traveling is something that is definitely on the top things of my list in terms of superpowers. That is a good one!

 

Shapeshifting or mind control.

 

No, wind powers would be air bending. Earthbending is dealing with the ground. You can simply create rocks, build houses/shelters, glide through the ground. And if you're falling through the air towards the ground, you can raise the ground to catch your fall through earthbending as well.

 

I'd choose shapeshifting. I could turn into a bird or something and fly places, or become a fly and literally be a "fly on the wall" in meetings and stuff.

: D Nice, that is kind of what I said in another topic about video game super powers. Since I played a Matrix game, I would love the ability to upload skills to my brains : D But mimicry way easier, no USB in the head needed : D But I have chosen teleport...Im stuck with it now.

Wow everyone's thinking so big here! All I wanna do is be able to read people's minds - NO ONE EVER SPEAKS WHAT THEY'RE THINKING! It could save so much anxiety. And I mean optional mind-reading (not like in that movie where the guy just automatically hears women's thoughts)

Oh for reference I have Asperger's; people not saying what they mean is especially problematic for me :/ But I think everyone could benefit, really.
