Would you go into a bar alone?

Of course. I go places alone all the time!

 

No, I would be way to anxious.

I would also be scared because I look so young and I'm not very strong, so I'm afraid I could get harassed. I would feel much better if I had friends to go with, but those I have live far away (why did I move? why?) and don't really like bars anyway.

If I met someone at university who invited me, I would go.

 

Depends on what bar and what time. Much more likely to go by myself to a sports bar to watch a game or to happy hour if I've got some time to kill or just want to chill

 

I wouldn't go to a bar alone. To me, bars are a place to socialize with friends.

I do go to clubs alone every now and then, when I feel like dancing but can't find anyone who wants to join me. It's way less awkward than visiting a bar alone, cause I'm busy with the music instead of just sitting and drinking. I've met some really nice people on nights out alone, some of them I'm still friends with.

Bars are ususally the best when you go alone so I say I do , but sometimes I will bring acouple of friends with me from time to time

 

depends i think. if its a bar then id maybe not have to go in on my own. and maybe i would choose not to go in on my own if i could. but if its a gay bar, id most likely have to go in oon my own (beccause i have no gay friends). maybe if i was feeling brave enough i would. as i know that maybe id be able to make friends there or even a relationship. i think maybe id like it. it'd probably reduce the internalized homophobia by normalizing the whole gay thing with so many gay people around there

 

I don't drink, but I suppose it's just like going to the cinema on your own - I probably would. Especially if I had the confidence to specifically try to meet new people there.

If it was just a bar, nope...if it was a combined bar/restaurant then yeah I might go, but I'd be going to eat not drink.
If it was a gay bar (of any type) no, I'd be too uncomfortable.

I haven't even went many times with friends. And when I do, I drink Red Bull or Coca Cola

 

I would, if it weren't for social anxiety and general awkwardness and extreme shyness, especially around people I don't know at all, or don't know well. So guess the real answer is hell no. I don't even like going into a café by myself, let alone a social setting. Eek! :eek:

I wouldn't but I want to be the type of person who would!!! Since the past few years have been filled with 'firsts' for me though, I just might get to the point where I will!

I actually just conquered the 'eating in a restaurant alone' experience. (A real restaurant, not a food court at the mall!) And it was fine! I didn't feel nearly as awkward as I thought I would.

 

Last time i went into a pub on my own was because I was really early for a gig that was happening at a nearby venue, so I stopped for a drink to kill some time. I prefer not to go to a pub on my own. I did go through a phase where I would go drinking alone just to get out of the house and do something with what was left of the evening, but it was not enjoyable. Sitting on my own while everyone else in the pub is chatting with their mates. The only people that would approach me were weirdos that I didn't feel comfortable talking to.

Nope. But I guess that's because I don't drink alcohol, lol ... but even if friends were planning some function at a bar, I would decline the invitation because I feel uncomfortable in them.

Sure. Don't really have anybody who would go with me, anyways. As it is, I don't really go to bars (since I'm usually broke as fuck) but if I did I'd have no problem going alone.
