Molyneux is hands down the worst developer in the world. The dude really needs to shut the fuck up.

But it was mostly disliked for not being quite as promised (Molyneux promised a lot.) and because it had several glitches, some that were even completely gamebreaking. All in all, it was shoddy craftsmanship, most likely because Molyneux kept changing the studio's focus.

Molyneux yeah he sounded like.....Kanye West about games. But Kanye at least made what he said. (Or so I heard and I do like a couple of songs, with mixed feelings)

I remember it being a bit glitchy in graphics especially.

Fable 1 was bigger then 2 ? Or did it just feel like that ? I do remember it being slightly disappointing and a bit to immature, but it had its magic.

Funny if you compare GTA Vice City map to GTA 5, so small ! : )

Fable 2 was definitely bigger. Fable 1 had more areas, but that's because areas had to be much smaller due to hardware limitations. Fable 2 instead had much larger maps and fewer loading screens.

The game Journey was the single most game that made me feel I was a part of something beautiful.

The Turing Test was another jewel of a game and hitting squarely everything I look for in a game.

I tend to appreciate games that leave a lot to the player in terms of discovery. Usually I go for RPG, puzzler, or an otherwise conceptually unique or artistic game. I enjoy complexity and depth either in the story or gameplay, and tend to dislike games greatly which are very straightforward and spell everything out for the player.

Nicely described ! That is how I feel mostly. I dont like only puzzling, but I do love point and click adventure puzzles. I love elements of point and click, rpg, free roam, etc. etc. so RPG comes closest.

Journey is amazing, and never played the Turing test (yet)

Journey is my second most favorite game of all time. It made me cry more than once.

I got it in a value pack at a local Sam's Club but man, I love that game.

Anyone here heard of Spelunky? It's available on steam...I suck at it, but I still tend to fall in at around 500 on the daily challenges, so I don't think it's THAT well known, but idk

    Hitman: Blood Money.

    Loved it.

Went back and played recently - unplayable. Hitman (2016) is almost perfect.

Rule of Rose. In terms of story, the game is an absolute masterpiece. The gameplay, however, is somewhere between clunky and unplayable, the puzzles are just "follow your dog around and try to avoid the one hundred locked doors in this god forsaken maze," and because the game got banned in Europe thanks to those good ol' anti-video game nuts who don't realize that not all video games are made for children, the game is hugely overpriced. In my opinion, the story and final level of the game make the frustration of the gameplay completely and utterly worth it, but I think most people wouldn't agree with me.

If you like that sort of thing then you should play Orwell, it's about government surveillance and it's really good (plus it's episodic, and the first episode is free on steam).

...*anxiously looks at Steam library and bank statement indicating that I bought both Beholder and Orwell in a Steam bundle*

But yeah, I haven't actually made the jump to play Orwell yet (no time, no energy) but I'm thinking this weekend is going to change and it's a hella good omen that you've recommended it.

I LOVE Pharaoh. IMO it's one of the best "city-building" games out there.

Either the Renderware SpongeBob games, the Sims 3, or Morrowind (or any in TES series for that matter).

I have a lot of nostalgia for Fable 2 also. Going through the game trying so hard to get that halo above my head was exhilarating.

    Odd world: strangers wrath

    And

    Blinx: the time sweeper
This game was outrageous. You were a magical cat that could control time and your only weapon was a vacuum.

*checks steam library* Maybe Marlow Briggs. Hack and slash about a dude who gets killed and some Mayan or something god brings him back to life. Cue an adventure to save his gf and kill the bad guy. Very funny and just slightly OTT. It's very cheap and well worth it.

That and VA-11 Hall-A which everyone should play cuz who doesn't wanna be a bartender.

Oh and why does no one mention Fable 3? That was awesome too
