This one sounds silly, but it actually has very real, deep meaning for me. The four members of my family move back and forth between California and Colorado a ridiculous amount. I've moved seven times in the past five years, sometimes with both parents, sometimes with one, sometimes with none. Sometimes with my sister, sometimes without. I've lived in the basements of various friends and gone to a TON of different schools. At times I felt really sad and stressed out about my relationship with my family, but when my mom said this, it made me remember all the good times I've had with them. My life is a complete mess, but maybe that's the way I like it.

Actually, my favorite quote is my signature! That being said, I left part of it out to keep it short in my signature. "If you wanna live, you can't always take the easy path. Sometimes, you gotta take the painful ones. On that path you might suffer and writhe in pain, but at least you'll survive."
