What's your favorite quote?

Mine is actually from the video game Dragon Age: Origins. It goes: ""Shut one's eyes tight or open one's arms wide, either way, one's a fool." - Flemeth

I thought it was clever and agreed with the quote completely. Now at times, I'll re state it in real life situations.

I had been playing through the game when I was getting ready to come out. When I encountered this quote in game, it really struck me. I'd been living in the closet (it's own "world" if you will) and had built up all these fears about it. And then, lo and behold, when I did come out, it wasn't nearly as bad as I'd built it up in my head.

tl;dr: It's a good quote for when you're scared about leaving a part of your life that wasn't all that good in the first place.

I've had a number of quotes mean something to me over the years, but my favorite two - like gonna be tattooed on me favorites - are:

"Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light." - J.K. Rowling. It reminds me that there's always a light I can reach when I'm going through a hard depressive episode.

"To live would be an awfully big adventure." - J.M. Barrie. It reminds me to keep going.
