Which is better PS4 or XBOX 1?

But seriously, when you count their pros and cons, they about equal out. Ultimately it doesn't matter a whole lot unless you have your heart set on a particular exclusive.

 

I prefer PS4 but the biggest reason for that is because it has way more support in Japan (the XB1 practically crashed and burned immediately after it was released there) so as a result, the PS4 has way more games that hold my interest than the XB1.

 

At this point? PS4. Microsoft keeps fucking over their exclusives--the only reason to even buy a console--and their lineup of exclusives at this point is pretty weak when compared to the PS4.

 

PS4 all the way. I just find the whole interface to be so much cleaner and just better in general. Plus when you've got exclusive games like The Last of Us and Uncharted how can you go wrong XD.

 

I wish they both had more fun cartoony games and local multiplayer games like the Nintendo Wii U does.

I don't own either, but I was leaning more toward the PS4 if I ever purchase. Xbox one just doesn't seem to have many good games.

Why? The only worth a console have these days are their exclusives and Xbox One barely has any and most of them aren't even exclusive at all as they're available on PC too. Meanwhile, the PS4 has plenty of exclusives coming throughout this entire year.

Power in the current consoles is completely pointless to compare because all of them were hilariously obsolete the minute they were announced.

I'm really not biased in any way when it comes to this stuff; I say it the way it is.

 

As an owner of both consoles, I definitely prefer the PS4. Especially because of what others have said, exclusives. PS4 has A LOT more than the Xbox One does, and not to mention, most of the Xbox One "exclusives" seem to be coming over to PC as well.

At this point, Xbox only has Halo and it wouldn't surprise me if Halo 6 is also available on PC once release. They HAD Fable and would've had Scalebound, but Microsoft's like "nope, not anymore!". Meanwhile PS4, has The Last of Us, Horizon Zero Dawn, The Last Guardian, God of War, Uncharted and many more games that aren't on the PC so you need a PS4 in order to play them.

I also find the home menu a lot better on PS4, takes me ages to navigate the Xbox One because it's so clunky while the PS4 remains basic, the way I think it should be.

Aside from my PC, my PS4 sees the most usage by far, while my Xbox One basically sits in a drawer.

 

PS4 has higher technical specs, better exclusives, more exclusives, and more reliable exclusive, the whole legendary playstation legacy in the online store, region free, a larger international userbase, a 4k version if you ever wanted... It's literally a no-brainer. I want to buy one also because it has that support from the Japanese games industry which I'm interested in since I'm a BA Japanese student and so would like to play games in Japanese.

I have an XBox One S. The Reason I went with the XBox One S over the PS4 Pro is the XBox supports 4K Bluray.

 

Before I bought the PS4, I would have said I preferred the Xbox One, but after owning a PS4 for a few months, I can say that I prefer the PS4. I still like the Xbox One aswell though.

 

I've got an xbox one, so I'd have to side with that - they seem pretty similar to be honest.

PC's are much more powerful, and can be upgraded to make them last for years.

№1. Fallout 4 (Pc plagys no probs and xb1 has mods)
№2. Cs.go (xb1 has it from xb360 and its home platform)
№3. Portal 2 (not on ps4 and hey pc is again home platform)

PS4 seems way better to me because of the exclusives. I'm planning on buying one soon. Hopefully, Level 5 will release something cool on it.

(Still prefer Nintendo by a long shot, though)
