What's your Ethnicity?

Does viking count as an ethnicity...? I also know that my ancestors from a few hundred years back were Italian. Other than that I don't much about my ethnicity.

 

South European (mainly Iberian) with some Native American blood mixed in. I'm interested in doing the Ancestry DNA test but it's not available in my country.

 

on my father's side, I'm British, Scotch-Irish, French, Norwegen.

On my mothers in , Greek, Native American, German and British.


However I look most like a Greek

 

Italian, British, and Norwegian.

 

I'm a European American. My great-great-grandparents were from countries such as Poland, Italy, Russia (Jewish) and Germany. I have a lot of Slavic blood as well. They all immigrated to America in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

As far as I know, my only ethnicity is German. Boring!

Going by last names, my mother and my grandmother have German surnames, only my own surname from my father's side isn't necessarily German and there's a possibility it's from an Irish village. Therefore I might have Irish ancestry. It wouldn't be that surprising because I have red hair :lol: I wish I could find out, I find ancestry very interesting! I know someone who is very distantly related to Marie Antoinette, which is extremely cool! But I have a working class background, so I highly doubt I'm in any way related to a historical figure.

 

One of my friend's ancestors was on the Mayflower in 1620. And I remember my fifth grade teacher's ancestor was the captain of the Mayflower.

My last name is possibly German, from my dad's dad's dad. Last names are passed down patrilineally in my family.

German American heritage with some Russian and British mixed in and a little Cherokee

 

I'm Estonian and that's pretty much all i know but there are no pureblood Estonians so maybe i have some Swedish, Polish, Finnish, Russian and German mixed in.

I'm ¾ Anitsalagi (Cherokee). The other ¼ is made up of German, Scottish and possibly some Irish.

Lol almost everybody here has a very... diverse ancestry. I feel boring.
