Short answer: I'm white. Long answer: My mom's side of the family is a mix of Scottish, Dutch, and Norwegian ancestry, with a little British mixed in. My dad's side is Irish, however it's probably deeper than that considering that we're all from the U.S.

I'm white and Japanese. There are some other important figures, such as German and Welsh.

Well, things do change. I just got my results from an Ancestry DNA kit I sent in months ago. While the results aren't shocking, there are some interesting tidbits. I expected to be around 3/4 Native Amerindian and maybe 1/4 European (as a Latino/Hispanic). I got:

48% Native American (no further breakdown, Ancestry DNA just says "Native American" means: "home to the indigenous people of the Americas. This vast region stretches over two continents to include the rugged territory of Alaska and Canada, mountains and plains of the United States, dry valleys of Mexico, tropical jungles of Central America and South America, and the Patagonian steppes of southern Argentina and Chile.")

45% European, which broke down, shockingly, as 21% Italian/Greek, 18% Iberian Peninsula and 6% Northern European (Irish/Finnish)

7% trace from Middle East, East Asia, and Africa combined

While I did have a bit more European blood than I expected, what was the shocking part to me is that I supposedly have more Italian/Greek blood in me than Iberian (Spain/Portugal). This is shocking because most Latinos' European heritage comes from Spain/Portugal. So, I guess I need to add lasagna and/or gyros to my diet .

The African/Middle East blood wasn't exactly a shock, either, because I would expect some of the Moors could have brought over their DNA in 711-1492 and intermingled with the Iberians, and the East Asia could be a remnant of long ago when my Native American ancestors crossed the Bering Strait.

So, I guess if asked what am I, the easiest answer is half Native American half Mediterranean.

Born in USA. Ancestry: Irish, Norwegian (Viking), English, Scottish, French, German--roughly in that order.

I'm a Quebecer, so my ancestry is mostly French (like, over 90%).

I have some Irish in there from my mom's side because her last name comes from there. Then I found some Swiss and Portuguese in minimal proportions.

    Not really sure about percentages.
But I had a great grandmother that was half Irish and half native American. Her husband was full Irish. (My dad's mom's parents)

A great grand mother was German and English. A great grand father that was german, native American, English, and Irish. (Dad's father's parents)

Another great grandmother that was half Scottish and half native American. Her husband was half German and half native American. (Mom's dad's parents.)

Another great grandmother that was a mix of different European nationalities from English, French, German, and polish. Her husband was a mix of German, native American, englsih, and French. (Mom's mother's parents)

That is pretty much how our heritage has been mapped out xD
So basically I am white as hell with a sprinkling of native American.

I'm Dominican! (I think I may be the only Dominican around here...) As far as race, Dominicans are all mutts. I'm mixed with Spanish, Native American and African. I don't know the percentages and would love to someday find out but based off of what I've learned from my family, I'm likely 60% white, 35% black and about 5% Native American. These are only educated guesses so who knows what the actual percentages are.

I'm Chinese, probably entirely of the Han ethnicity, which is the most common in China.
