So my friend is offering to buy me LGBT theme books for Christmas, but I don't have a list of books to offer her because I have actually read zero LGBT books in my life. To be honest I only thought you could find gay love in fan fiction for the longest time. (Or in yaoi manna)

So does anyone have any suggestions for a good first time book?

I like large books that make me feel a shit tone of emotions. One of those people who actually look foe the books with heart breaking endings.

Genre wise I tend to to like sci-fi/fantasy, action & adventure, romantics, really I tend to read anything xD

Guess I could say I am looking for the G in LGBT though I guess the T part is fine as well

Hope you enjoy the books. I thoroughly did.

    Thanks for the reply ^_^
I've seen those suggested before and do plan to look into them soon.

A friend of mine is trying to pressure me to reading Always by Kindle Alexander. So if you know anything about that I would love to hear it.

More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera
The Culling by Steven Dos Santos
    Proxy by Alex London

I only read Hero, but found the other titles by looking around.

These are the ones I've read, not all of them have heartbreaking endings though IMO.

More Than This by Patrick Ness
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz
I'll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson
None of the Above by I.W. Gregorio
SuperMutant Magic Academy by Jillian Tamaki
When Everything Feel Like the Movies by Raziel Reid
    Hourou Musuko by Takako Shimura
Alex As Well by Alyssa Brugman

If I remember anymore, I'll post them
