The title says it all. Any advice on what system or model to get? I'm not to knowledgeable on stuff like RAM and gigs and all of that kinda stuff. ---------- Post added 13th Nov 2016 at 12:44 PM ---------- Also I don't have Internet at my house (my choice since I struggle with a porn addiction). So do I need to have Internet in order to play it?
You need internet to access PSN, which is used for a LOT of the system, games, etc.. If you don't have internet then you'll be extremely limited, as well as being limited in having to buy single-player hard copies of discs. Personally it might narrow down your play capability to the point in which it might not be all that great without internet. But you CAN do it. In terms of system specs, it depends on the type of games you wish to play. Most new games have a staggering amount of GB storage required, so I typically recommend a 1TB to most gamers. You might be able to get away with 500GB if you don't think you'll be playing too many games. You can get a standard PS4 500GB for fairly cheap now ($250-$300), maybe even less if second hand. You probably don't need a PS4 Pro. They're newer sure, but eh, I wouldn't say it's worth the extra cost. (They have better graphics, but unless you're a stickler for everything having to be perfect, then meh, it's not all that mandatory.)
Yeah, it'll work for that. I myself have quite a few single player games. If you like racing, get Dirt Rally it's epic. Also, the remastered Uncharted series and The Last of Us are so good on the ps4. Gta V and Far Cry IV are also great single player story-based open world games. I'm kind of disappointed I don't have the money to upgrade to the ps4 pro, but the graphics on the original are still fairly good.
