It's Samhain for me too and one of my favorite nights of the year but, it comes with some not so good reminders of a friend and his struggles too. Still Blessed Samhain (belated) My next favorite thing is cooking for the holiday dinners because I like to cook.
Getting an excuse to make big clunky costumes and walk around in a homemade spacesuit is certainly a great thing in my eyes. It gets hella hot in there though, ow. Though I later noticed some significant flaws which led to damage, I've noted my mistakes and will correct these issues momentarily. I may need better paint too, it likes to flake off the helmet. Gives me a nice excuse to "field test" whatever I make. I think I'll do something less clunky next year so it's easier to get around. I've always wanted a Celty-style helmet. I wouldn't want to do backflips in the thing but still.
The only thing I liek about Haloween is cooking crazy looking things or making drinks that look strange ^^
