I can see A LOT of self censoring in my past as well. If only being trans was more accepted, perhaps I'd have known earlier. but alas....

I honestly think if someone had sat me down and explained what being trans actually was, even at 13 my "Oh Shit!" moment would have happened right then.

    omg this.

When said family member doesn't care about your safety or that no one knows you're trans except your boss.

Not sure if I self censored, but in High School I would lay my head on the desk, or table if it was a science class, and discreetly peek up girls' skirts. I mainly blame it on the testosterone poisoning of male puberty, but maybe a small part of it was to see the kind of underwear I wished I could wear.

Either way, not proud of having done that.

I could wish for that and it would have been quite nice, but given time and place it wouldn't have made a difference, and probably made me more miserable TBH.

You look forward to having never to shave anything but your face again. Unless I get the genetics of a lot of hair, which going by the looks of males in the family, we only have medium level body hair. So that is good.

But I honestly don't know how women survive. Is it enjoyable to shave body hair, for you women out there, or is it a hassle?

I'm with Akari, though I epilate rather than shave. I would expect the drudgery of clearing hair off my body to replace the novelty eventually, except that with epilating it gets easier as you go along, and the hair doesn't grow back as strongly or thickly. (Those are too words!)

I enjoy my legs and armpits, but I HATE having to shave my face and chest/belly.

You stare at the mirror. Peach fuzz in your face.

"No, I can't leave the house like that!!! I need to shave!! I look like a savage!"

Meanwhile I'm sitting at school with stubble all over because I didn't have time to shave this morning.....I feel pretty gross.

you've spent hours researching ways to get your hair back, so you can rock cute hair styles without wigs.

When you favor a certain outfit just because it makes you look more...Ummm... "manlier" than the others.
