So I found this quiz based on the Klein sexual orientation grid, and I was bored so I decided to take it. This might not be the right place to post this, as this is more of a for fun type of thing. Anyway, this was the result I got: Southampton Directory | Klein Sexual Orientation Grid Quiz Wasn't a great fan of this one admittedly, I mean what has someone's friend group got to do with anything? :/ Regardless, it'd be interesting to see people's results.
I got 6- exclusively homosexual Some of the questions made no sense though. For example, why do we have to pick a gender/sex for all of the questions? What about someone like me that is a virgin (I define virgin as someone who hasn't done anything below the waist except for solo masturbation). How exactly can I pick a "gender" for past or current sexual behavior?
I agree, some of the questions didn't make much sense. As for behaviour, I'm in the same boat. I just put what I think I would do/ what seems most likely to be the case in the future for all of them. I know it's not what it asked on the questions, but it's all I can put since there is no "N/A" option on the questions.
2.62. Sounds about right. I think it's really interesting that it takes into account your idea behavior, attraction, etc. (it was also interesting for me to realize that my ideal is not quite the same as my actual behavior, attraction, etc.). Overall, I'm not sure if I like it. Some questions are a little weird (OP is right; what does social preference have to do with orientation?).
3.3... I really don't understand how socializing with both sexes should in any way determine what my sexual orientation is. Calling bullshit here
1.19 But this was awkward for me. My behavior, preference and identification is asexual and heteroromantic, although I have a sexual turn on for some specific combinations of male facial features, social status and behavior, but not body - naked bodies leave me cold.
The only reason I can think of, is that the quiz assumes that the person taking it will either date within their friend group, or meet their partner through friends. What the question is really trying to get at is what your peer group is like. I did hear of case where a man identified as gay and went to a single-same-sex school, and then when he went into a more mixed education he discovered that he liked women as well as men, so this is probably what the quiz is looking at. Opportunity. Which in a way does have a role in all this.
What I do however have a problem with is the part where it asks the identities of the people you tend to socialise with. Now that part seems redundant.
I got a 3.1 but I would seriously question the validity of this quiz. Im definitively a bit more gay than that lol. I like this one a bit more Kinsey Scale Test But hey what does a personality test know?
I got an 1.81 though I answered it from my assigned sex / gender perspective (so as if I was a woman who preferred men I guess?) though I'm actually pretty much agender sooo... I didn't really understand social preference though?? Because socially I don't have a preference, but idk what that has to do with attraction. Maybe its just from the assumption that if you're mostly straight you'll befriend your own gender more...?
I'm confused with the questions XD Simpler please, I'm a simple man. ---------- Post added 20th Oct 2016 at 12:27 AM ---------- Filled it out randomly. Got 2.29 according to my GAAB. I don't get what my queer friends have o do with it, or any other of my buddies. ---------- Post added 20th Oct 2016 at 12:30 AM ---------- So as a dude I would get 3.71? And I don't really get the "ideal"...
Although I suppose that ties into the opportunity thing as well, still not a greatly designed quiz- but I've seen worse.
