    Hi everyone I am 16, FTM and am looking for a name i have made at least 50 lists with over 60 names on each and asked my friends but i still cant pick so i need some help, at the moment i have my list narrowed down to 2 names, Alexander (Alec as a nickname) and Kieren. My mum is fine with me being trans but every time I ask her to help pick a name she says its up to me and cant be bothered helping my pick one. For middle names I would like to use either Connor or James as these are the names mum wanted if I was born a boy. So the names would be
    Alexander (Alec) James Scott
    Alexander (Alec) Connor Scott
    Kieren James Scott
    Kieren Connor Scott
    But if you can think of any other names similar or that go with my last name or the possible middle names that would be great i prefer names that have a nickname thats why im leaning more to Alec because i cant think of nicknames for Kieren.How do i pick a name and im torn between picking name I like or that everyone else likes and im trying to please everyone and im worried ill pick wrong then regret it, any advice
    Cheers :lol::icon_bigg:help:

    (Aye my name is Alexander James actually) They all sound like good names but your name should really be something you choose for yourself. You could always ask friends ( if you haven't already) to try out different names to see what you feel more comfortable using. You don't have to rush choosing a name either and you can always change it later if you want to. Just remember it's YOUR name, in the end, it should be whatever you think is best, not anyone else. Sorry if this wasn't really helpful

    I like sound of 'K' and then 'C' in Kieren Connor [Another example would be James Kimberly Corbin - an actor].

    But go with Oliv's advice; you can ask people to test out a new name to hear it in practice, but you have the say in what your name is.

    An I the only one here who prefers Alec James Scott?

    Has a bit of a ring to it, in my opinion. Also I just like the name Alec.

    Obviously the choice is yours in the end, but I really do like the sound of Kieran and Connor together, mostly because they're two names I really like.

    Go with Kieran! I like that it is uncommon but not trendy. And imo, we have enough Alexanders.
