    Ouch, I feel you (*hug*)
I'm seriously considering telling my mom why exactly I don't want a boyfriend but coming out feels like making a big deal out of my sexuality and I really don't want that. Still, it might be better than having to listen to people telling me to finally find myself a boyfriend :bang:

The first time my mom suspected is when she caught me and my girlfriend (now ex) kissing. I told her we were just hugging. A few years later I finally came out to her, and she the look on her face made me sick. So I lied and said it was just a phase. I'll probably never be able to tell her.

Well she caught me looking at gay porn a bunch of times so I say she did.

Maybe...I mean I was always a weird kid so other things wouldn't have been that suspicious.

    Ha ha ha!

I could just imagine the look on someone's face in that situation. Obviously she knows, and isn't bothered about it.

My mom told me that her and my dad figured it out a few years ago. It made the coming out process to them much easier

No, they didn't, nor has anybody I've told so far.

I’m not out to my parents yet, but sometimes I wonder if they know. They tend to go from using neutral terms to saying “boyfriend/husband”. I know when I had to do about my “ideal partner” for German class, my mum asked if they were a he or a she, I didn’t say anything back so she started using male pronouns. There was also this time when my mum and I were filling out this work experience form and it asked me what my orientation was, and my mum looked at me and said “straight?” and put down heterosexual. I went back and changed it to “prefer not to say” and she didn’t say anything about it.

We were on a family walk once on holiday, and somehow the topic of marriage came up and my parents and my sister used he/she interchangeably when referring to my future. This is uncommon though, usually they just say “your future husband/boyfriend” but sometimes they say “he or she”. I get the impression that they want to come across as open-minded, just in case, but think I’m straight.

I think my sister may have her suspicions, since she set my sim (yes, I made myself on sims…like you haven’t) up with a random woman on the sims. But my parents? Well, my mum seems clueless. (Although the prefer not to say moment was probably a little questionable). I don’t know about my dad though, such topics I don’t really speak about with my dad.

Yeah, my parents, especially my mum, had their suspicions. I've been really masculine since I was a kid, so it wasn't much of a surprise when I came out as a lesbian, and then as a boy.

Not as a kid but as I got into my 20s & wasn't dating much they started to question. When I came out to everyone I came to learn at one point or another most of my family & extended family had conversations about whether or not I was gay lol

I'm married with children. I didn't have a clue until earlier this year. No one else has a clue at all.

My mom had absolutely no clue that I was gay. She was a SO surprised that she thought it was just a phase of mine for about 6 months.
My friends weren't surprised at all though. In fact, they seemed to know I was gay before I did

My mom suspected when i was between 4 and 8, and once I found out, it quickly became obvious to them. When I told them, they already had books about it.

Nope. When I did, however, they did not care.

My parents must suspect something, if not solely for the reason of comparing me to my twin brother. He has had numerous girlfriends and exudes heterosexuality. I, the quiet 25-year-old virgin must cause some suspicion of a non-hetero orientation, but my parents never bring it up, and neither do I.

I'm not out to my dad (he probably knows by now), but my mom wasn't too surprised about it when I came out, I guess. She took it well and everything.
