Recently I've been thinking about my life ten/twenty years from now. I know I definitely want kids. I love the idea of a cute little family that takes the kids to a park and so on. After coming to conclusions that I'm probably bisexual I've been replacing my "dream" husband with a wife. I see straight married couples all the time, but I've never seen a gay, married couple. Especially not one with kids. And I was just wondering, if there are any gay couples to answer my questions, what's it like? How did you get married? Who had the kids, where did the kids come from? What are the differences to a straight couple? What are the unexpected similarities? Is the community in small towns not as accepting? How did your parents react? What happens at Thanksgiving? And Christmas? These might be the worlds stupidest questions, but if I don't ask I'll never know. (!)
