What's a good antivirus/malware program?

My dad and I have been using Norton for years on our PCs.

It's great, if you have the cash. You can do tune-ups and everything with it, security reports, disc cleanups....

Malwarebytes combined with Adwarebytes, I swear by that combo.

It seems to be pretty good at it's job, but they've been increasingly annoying with the free version to the point I had to uninstall it. It's a shame, rather good program but a rather obnoxious built in ad campaign. Gets frustrating when it randomly minimizes fullscreen games.

Used to not be like that at all. Wonder if it was a change in management or a steep deficit.
