I rarely drink hot drinks but when I do it's never tea... I don't like any kind of tea. Do you know how difficult it is to be living in England and not like tea? It's a hard life.
Oolong or Chai. I just went to this awesome tea joint in Burlington VT. They had 30+ different loose leaf teas plus a menu of 50 or so teas they brewed and served there
I had to use google translate to tell me what the ingredients are called. Im dutch, and couldnt remember the english words for it.. My all time favorite tea consists of Anise fennel liquorice and peppermint. It. Is. Awesome.
My mom gives me this delicious chamomile tea.....mmm....other than that, all tea tastes super bland to me.
We drink our tea just about the same way Recently my favourites have been lapsang souchong and pu'erh, though i like just about any kind of tea. Except for yerba mate and earl grey. Earl grey is way too floral for my tastes (i always feel like im licking potpourri), and yerba mate just isnt my cup of tea i guess.
Chamomile! Oh how I love some sleepy time with milk and sugar, the same for a nice warm cup of chai, it's so comforting.
Thirded. I like cinnamon tea, too, mixed with just a splash of milk and a shot of Fireball. (I think the OP is too young for the Fireball, though). And I like a cup of mint tea sometimes too, as long as it's not peppermint. It all depends on my mood.
Speaking of alcohol, when it's cold or I'm sick (or, both), I do like a hot black tea with some raw honey, lemon, and and a dash of whiskey or bourbon. AKA: hot toddy.
