Damn, cringed pretty hard at it. Other than the internal pain I'm feeling it's not that shocking considering it's not only the US but also one of the crazier parts of it. Fox is even on it.

I'm glad something is being done about it to an extent, you know if we parodied it and put up an "Ex-Straight, counseling comes with two free strapons!" sign it'd get removed instantly.

Considering the anti-trans billboards that were up for hero in Houston, this isn't very surprising.

Austin and the surrounding towns are pretty friendly towards gays, I didn't think other cities in Texas wouldn't be...

Austin and San Antonio are just about the only lgbt friendly cities in Texas. They're also the only cities that have judges willing to change names for trans people.

I would also say Houston might be a bit LGBT friendly. They did have backlash with HERO, but we also had a lot of protest in San Antonio when city council voted on non-discrimination.

That said, Waco is pretty conservative. Heck, even the word "Waco" will mean something totally different to an FBI agent .

Houston is suprisingly conservative. It's not at bad as somewhere like Waco, but it's still not too great.

Isn't this the same billboard that featured people who didn't even know they were going to be on something like this? Or would this be a totally different case?

YES! Scotland is crying out for immigrants, we have a small population of only 5.3 million. We are not much smaller than England that has nearly 60 million. We have space and are fairly tolerant, non religious and liberal. Come on over!

I passed thought Waco this past weekend, I should have gotten off the interstate and found that billboard. Then went and gave it a rude gesture.

From personal experience the change the billboard is speaking of is not. I've tried that path for 5 years and here I am today. The change that is possible is the acceptance of homosexuals for who they are.

    Someone should do that.

Anyway, stupid billboard is stupid. I'm glad people know enough to see it for what it is, and it gets the deserved reaction.
