Good morning everyone so I just wanted to mention that I decided against 2 inch heels for my daughter. We spent about an hour in a store last night . I cannot even tell you how many pairs of shoes my daughter try on .I found some of the 2 inch made her look older than 12 and other shoes she almost broke an ankle by walking around while trying them on . On the other hand I did end up getting her a low wedge heel shoes open toe really cute shoes. My daughter is turning into a typical teen girl. She did put up a big stink about not getting a 2 inch heel and I told her it's either these shoes or nothing at all. My baby took another step forward in her life I allowed her to wear some makeup before going to the mall. So before we left I watched her put her makeup on I stood behind in the bathroom just in case she need it help. I only allow her to go light on the makeup nothing to heavy.I was amazed how great she did but I had to help her with the eyeliner it's always hard to do. So after she finished I was like look how beautiful you are. I can't tell you how great of a smile she had and was like thanks mom . My daughter is going to wear a dress and tights tomorrow to school for the first time. So like always I will worry because it will be a first for her as transgender I am sure she will do fine . Have a great day
Your username fits you perfectly. People like you make the world a better place! (*hug*) I can give you a few links to some recommended make-up for your daughter, if you'd like. Your daughter and I are only 1 year apart in age, and I have the same rules as her as far as make-up goes. I don't wear make-up often, just the occasionally application of concealer, some lipgloss, and nail polish, but I have used eye shadow and such on my little sister and brother for dress up, and I know a few good, cheap brands. I also know of a few good and cheap brands of nail polish, if your daughter is interested in painting her nails!
Yeah, 2 inch heals may not be the best shoes to start her in. That can be something that she works her way up to with time though. You are doing an awesome job, she is lucky to have a mom that is accepting as you are!
Yes that would be great if you can send me those links and speaking of nails she does them more often than I do .I also thank you for the kind words really appreciate ---------- Post added 5th Sep 2016 at 09:57 AM ---------- To Raven wing that would be great if you can send me those links it would help.
