Hey everyone! I'm just a lesbian looking to make new friends that are also a part of the LGBT community like me. I'd really love to talk to other lesbians too! I really enjoy reading, playing video games, and blogging on Tumblr. If you know about ASMR videos, they're also pretty great (they help me fall asleep). If you'd like to chat w/ me please feel free to post here or message me! :3 (&&&)
Hello! I would like to be your friend ♥ I don't like tumblr all that much, but I do really love ASMR videos ^~^ I am new here too.
Yay! Thank you so much for responding to my thread haha! c: And aw that's a shame, Tumblr is really great for connecting communities together. But I'm glad you like ASMR too. If it's OK w/ you, may I PM you?
I just found what you said really offensive. People put the onus on us lgbt folks to have to come out and say we're lgbt when a lot of us get abuse for it afterwards. And I think it's wrong for people to think being straight is normal. That kinda thinking is why there's still homophobes around. If I were to come out, my whole family would literally abuse me. So yeah, what you said really set me off.
Hi Wen, I do have a Tumblr account, but I am not very active on it. ASMR videos are my favorite! I really enjoy hair brushing ones, they help me sleep as well.
Hello Shay! Thank you for responding to my thread. :] And aw, it'd be great if you became more active! What kinda stuff do/did you post on your blog? I follow a lot of lgbt blogs on there haha. Also same! Hair brushing ASMR videos are great, even in real life I love when my hair gets played with lol. :')

Look, I don't think people should force you to come out. People who pressure you to come out are a-holes. That is not what I meant to say. I didn't come out until I was ready and that's how it should be And it isn't that being straight is normal and being gay isn't...it's that it isn't reasonable for people who are lgbt to expect straight people to stop assuming people are straight when they meet them. It isn't unreasonable for them to do that because the vast majority of people ARE straight so more often than not, they're probably right. It doesn't bother me at all and I'm not straight. Being straight is normal and so is being gay. Thinking that being straight is normal has nothing to do with homophobes. Thinking that being gay isn't also normal DOES. What I said is that being straight is more usual than being gay, and that's true. I think you just read my words wrong. Even if I had said what you thought I said, you shouldn't let people's opinions get to you so easily.
