As a Brit, I was pretty miffed when Obama told us not to leave the EU, so in the name of not being a hypocrite, I will keep my nose as far out of this as possible.

Every candidate has his/her flaws, but as long as Trump doesn't win, things are fixable.

I mostly think: So practically only rich people can be president? And you have only two real parties? No wonder this system went wrong somehow!

And then it's usually..why should i be allowed to judge their political system by my standards? It's their country and i don't know too much about the specific details anyway..

But Trump really? He doesn't even understand the living situations of most of the people he is supposed to be representing...

....basically it's a lot of up and down thoughts

    One word:
    HOW?

I don't even understand how it is even possible to find two candidates as bad as these monsters. One a corrupt deceitful sociopath bought by the most evil and callous economic leaders in the world and the other an authoritarian fascist "terrorist" with no policy substance what-so-ever.

    Just.... HOW!?

I hate to break it to you. But I think America is mentally challenged.

In general, I think most of us outsiders don't fully understand how your political system works but in general a lot of people in Sweden or Scandinavia are looking at the lack of support for socialism (like free healthcare, child support, parental leave etc.) and the support shown for Trump like... What in the ... Despite there being support for like borderline nazi parties here in Sweden the general consensus is that Trump = Bad. Luckily.

And this is my first post on here so please welcome me. Lol.

Although Clinton probably isn't the most ideal person for the white house, I think it'd be better if she won.
Trump is just plain crazy, no explanation needed.

    Welcome to the forums (!)

I might be an outsider. But I've been following the election more closely than most Americans probably do. I've been reading, listening and watching media surrounding this spectacle since back in december. So I think I'm quite aware of how the system works and I have a fair idea of who the candidates are and what they stand for.

Also, what are these borderline nazi parties in Sweden anyways? I thought Svenskarnas Parti (The Swedes Party) shut down a year ago because the support for them was so low they just gave it up. No party in Sweden comes even close to the completely terrible politics that Mr. Trump stand for. Even the Sweden Democrats (whom are considered conservative in Sweden) are about as left wing as Bernie Sanders. On certain social issues perhaps not, but purely looking at the economical aspects of their politics they are on about the same page. If not more left wing than Bernie. And they are considered "conservative"... Crazy world right?
