Liking female singers better than male.
Never being very interested in the whole "marry a guy, have two kids" thing.
The deep emotional connection with a friend and the intense hurt when she didn't return it.
Always watching and noticing girls and their bodies rather than guys
Fascination with lgbt books, movies, and tv shows

I thought Leonardo DiCaprio was reaaaaaaaally hot. That and I always just kind of found those male models really attractive, not the super buff ones but the ones that were just tone enough for it to show while still looking like they hadn't been through six hours of photoshop. The realistic hot guys, basically.

Not getting what all the excitement was about over girls, then finally googling it (IE: porn) and being absolutely disgusted.

I don't know really. I was never feminine or anything like that. I just never understood when all my friends started becoming girl crazy as a young teen. I wanted to hang out with my friends, not girls. I didn't have a single girl crush as a teen. I tried and had relationships with them but felt nothing. I kind of new I was gay and thought about it but never fully admitted it. I guess just that, no early signs as a child or anything. I just didn't get those same crushes and shit as a boy everybody else did. I like women now but it took awhile for that to happen.

When I was 10, I saw a movie in which a woman does a strip tease for her husband. It was very sexy.

I had none. Up until a few years ago I never once looked at a guy in any kind of sexual way.
After a bad break up, feelings of rebelliousness and a few guys commenting on pics of my ass on a porn forum I was like, wtf, I think I want D.

Yeah I get the opposite of excitement if I look at girls but boys? Very excited.

From the age of 2 to 13, my favorite color was the rainbow. I had rainbow cupcakes, rainbow clothes, and all that stuff. Now it's purple haha

When I was younger, I loved to dress up, commonly as female characters. I have no sister, so I used whatever fabric I could find to create my costumes. I also could not imagine growing up as a male, and since I didn't want to be seen as male, I was rather shy. I also disliked wearing boys' clothes, especially shorts, which I thought were ugly. Life is improving day by day now.

    1) The fairytale theme in the original post resonates with me - I could never decide whether I wanted to be the prince charming rescuing the beautiful princess, or be the beautiful young thing being rescued by a bold, handsome, and let's be honest, in the Disney world, slightly camp, prince.

    2) Way back in school, teasing the only *out* kid in class (yep, I did that, and I am not proud of it), and then getting home and secretly being jealous that he was getting cock and I wasn't.

Being in 7th grade and thinking that some of my guy friends were really cute/hot. And then that turned into fantasizing about them.

Being fascinated by curvaceous women with medium sized breasts and peachy bottoms.
Having zero interest in men, boy bands and e.g. male strippers.
Blushing, butterflies in stomach and shaking when I had a crush on female teachers in school.
My bedroom was plastered with Kylie posters when I was a teenager.
Having crushes on old school actresses such as Doris Day and Googie Withers.
I love Deeta von Teese's 40s look and burlesque act.

    1. In elementary school, I was obsessed with the idea of kissing one of my female friends. I was extremely clingy towards her, to the point where I made her uncomfortable and she stopped being my friend.
    2. I liked to draw girls a lot. And I liked to draw breasts on them. I just thought boobs were so fascinating.
    3. I recently read some of the stories I wrote in the beginning of middle school, and noticed that female friends seem really close. Kissing, holding hands, hugging a lot, etc. And having melodramatic arguments that were like breakups, then becoming friends again and being so emotional about it. They sometimes had male love interests, but I didn't go into nearly as much detail about them.
    4. In general, I never paid much attention to boys. When I look at things I wrote and drew, close friendships between females were given the most focus. You'd almost think I didn't know boys existed for the first ten or so years of my life. In fact, when I was in preschool, I ignored boys altogether because I believed they didn't matter; only girls should be paid any attention. I was so sexist! o.o

Wanting to kiss a girl when I was seven, and not understanding why.
Realizing I was repulsed by things being shoved up my genitals and that hetero sex freaked me out.
The only men I liked were EXTREME bishie boys from anime.

Secretly admiring the guys in my school swimming class whilst ignoring all the girls haha. Also playing with my Max Steel doll as a kid and loving his six pack
