I will say that under Tim Cook's leadership, Apple has been donating more to charities. However, they're still not a good company, ethics-wise.

Also, I really don't like Mac OS X (or OS X, or macOS, or whatever they're calling it this week). As you might be able to gather from my avatar, I do like the Classic Mac OS (as in Mac OS 9, Mac OS 8, System 7, etc.).

Mac, cause I'm completely computer illiterate. Why am I on this forum? I don't know.

PC. I've always had PCs and they're just easier to navigate in my opinion, though I did just buy a Mac for school so we'll see how it goes.

Linux user, at least as far day to day use is concerned.

I was for many years an Apple user, starting with Apple II machines in a school computer lab, and then moving to having my own Macintosh. I still have several older Apple computers in semi-regular service that range from a Quadra (the last machine I seriously used) to an older (10 years old or sol) Mac mini which I picked up on the cheap about six months ago to play with.

I've used PCs for the longest time but since the Adobe Creative Cloud is my lifeblood for the work I do, I've switched to a MacBook Pro since it runs so well on it.

I game so windows is natural for me. I also cannot stand the Mac OS interface and hate companies that do not let me have control my purchase.

and that's without relying on the LOL$800sfor32GBRAM argument.

    I5 3570k
    GTX 970
    Asrock Z77 Extreme4
    8GB RAM

According to userbenchmark, my RAM is underperforming. which is weird. I may replace it with another DDR3 kit before I hand this PC off to my friend.

I personally miss the Classic Mac OS (Mac OS 9, Mac OS 8, System 7, etc.). There was a unique charm to it.

One thing I don't miss is cooperative multitasking a la Windows 3.1/95/98/ME and Mac OS pre-X. Being able to actually do two or more things at once without the computer grinding to a halt is ... well ... I have no longing for the days before preemptive multitasking (and multi-CPU support).
