I also just like the fact that gender doesn't restrict how I feel about someone, or what I do with them. That's the best part about being pan!

I like being queer because it makes me feel free to embrace all these happy feelings I have about girls and hold them close. And accepting it all has given me the confidence to express myself more freely in my sexy tomboy ways. And even in girlier ways tbh. I just feel quite free.

I guess that was more about the acceptance. Just being queer is good because girls are so adorable and hot at the same time in a way that guys aren't quite.

I love being queer because my relationships and my feelings are things I have had to fight for and that makes me value them all the more.
Going through the journey of realizing my orientation and slowly coming out has helped me to be more accepting of myself and others.
When you are apart of the LGBT community you realize just how incredibly diverse humans are and you learn that this is something that should be celebrated.
Dealing with all the struggles that surround my sexuality has helped me to form a sense of self that can't be shaken by others opinions. It has helped me to be okay with standing alone. It has helped me to know how to depend upon myself and myself alone. It has given me the gift of introspection; it has given me the blessing of being truly in tune with my own heart.
Most importantly, this long drawn out experience of trying to understand who I am and what I'm going to do about it has made me realize a deep love and acceptance for myself. It has given me the freedom to be myself, warts and all.

I know I haven't come out yet but I have never, never in my entire life felt the rush of joy and relief when I came here and said I was gay.
I love being gay because I am finally able to really experience happiness.

I love being gay because I no longer have to waste energy fighting myself.

I love being gay because I can be honest and not have a barrier between everyone - straight and gay- anymore.

I wish I had learned to enjoy it sooner, actually. I mean we all know the difficult things. But some things about it amazingly fun. I love having the knowledge that I have that not so many people actually share. I love having this perspective on gender. I love the feeling I get when I get correctly gendered. I love kind of feeling outside it all and I love having a community feeling.

I love being who I am. I love being Bi because of that reason. I cannot change who I am , and if I could, I definitely would not.

I am just coming out, but I love being gay because it feels like all the sudden someone has taken the shoes off that were two sizes to tight and I can walk bare feet in the grass.

I love being gay realizing that I am gay connects me with the deepest feelings inside me.I can finally fully love, I can finally be honest with other people.

When I really accept that I am gay, even if its' for just an hour, its the warmest, safest, most beautiful place in the world.

I just love that gender doesn't matter to me when seeking love. Means I won't miss out on a great partner because of it.

Because I am now completely comfortable kissing my date in the street, full on lips, hugging him and walking hand in hand or arm wrapped around his waist. It just feels totally comfortable.

I also get to totally enjoy being in bed with him and letting everything I ever thought of as a fantasy during those denial years, to be reality and to love every single second of it.

Going down on him (sorry TMI?) sometimes I do a reality check and realise that I used to dream about doing this to a guy and that I'd then shut the thoughts away as it made me feel too guilty when I was married - that I shouldn't and couldn't have thoughts like that. In that split second (not spit...) that's when I realise that I am absolutely living the life I should have been living long ago and it feels absolutely amazing.
