LGBT News Man claims to have had relations with Orlando shooter

I'd heard rumors that the shooter was gay, I didn't think they were true, though.

 

Yeah, I heard he spent time at that club, which is why no one was suspicious. Thought he was just planning his shit. Didn't think the "gay" rumors would have any solidity to it though.

 

The report claims that it verified with an FBI source that it had talked with the man. However, there is no information that is persuasive that he had a relationships with Mateen. There could be, it's simply not available at this time.

Bear in mind that many times a murder occurs in New York, somebody drops by the police station and makes a false confession. We live in a society where some people dream to be on TV, and will do anything to get there.

If the story turned out to be true, I don't think I'd personally be that surprised.

 

The original source said that they weren't able to verify what the man said. On the other hand, we have statements from people who are verified as being his father and his ex-wife. While I'm not going to discount it completely, I don't place a whole lot of stock in this report.

 

Yeah, agree with the others. Pretty fishy.

 

The wife said he was struggling with his sexuality if I remember correctly.
