Probably spending too much money on people during Christmas, but I like being generous beyond my means.

I haven't bought anyone anything for Christmas.

 

So I went across the street to get something to snack on. I was too lazy to go grab my own coat, so I just snagged my sister's work jacket.

I thought we were about the same size. We're the same height and (I thought) close to the same weight. But I put her coat on and the shoulders are too narrow and the arms too short. Funny thing is though is that she's heavier than me. Shouldn't the damn thing have been too big? Logic fail.

 

I know neither have I and I need to.

 

I just referred to my penis as "she." I think it works. and I feel oddly better about having her now.

Logging in again feels like a sitcom reunion. You know that feeling where you're simultaneously swamped with nostalgia, yet still strikingly stunned with how different things are now? Maybe there's a German word for that feeling... I love that feeling.

Golly, I'm practically an old-timer 'round these parts now.

 

Do you people want to know what real love looks like? I went grocery shopping Sunday morning and forgot a few things, I worked on-call all of last night and most of yesterday evening as well, so it was a long night. I came home this morning to an unopened family sized bag of pretzels, which are like my favorite comfort food. My boyfriend noticed that I forgot them when I went shopping, and then braved near zero temperatures and ice to go to the grocery store that night to buy some for me, without me even mentioning it. That's actual, real, love.

 

I might be on the path to entering a polygamous relationship. I think this is something that will make me happy! Time will tell how this all works out I suppose.

Decided it's too cold and snowy to go out for our regular Sunday brunch so my husband is in the kitchen making quiche, crab salad, Bloody Marys and pecan pie of all things. Not sure what I did to deserve this, but whatever it was I'm glad I did it...:eusa_danc

 

Heating still not working. Weird how quick you get used to a cold house and carrying a blanket around.

 

I need to vacuum but everybody's watching TV and they wouldn't like that.

 

It's cold and foggy here this morning, so while I'm waiting for the apartment to heat up, I have two blankets piled on me. It's really quite snuggly and nice!

 

I survived the semester, all A's sans one B. I feel ill unfortunately, so I'm not too excited.

 

I always used to get sick right after the end of the semester... I think my body was trying to tell me I was pushing myself too hard. :eusa_naug

I'm about to get a manicure. I'm getting the SNS color HC5. It's a very pretty color, and just in time for the holidays. :love:
