These hot days make me so grumpy. I'm helping my sister, her boyfriend, and his mom move her stuff out of her house and there's no AC. :tantrum:

 

I'm having liver and onions for lunch from a place called Luby's. I remember growing up and having my grandma cook this for me.

You can't be as bad as my sister at keeping plants at least, she spilt wine on her plants once. The plants weren't a fan. :lol: Still, she seems to have gotten better at keeping plants. Her friends don't trust her to look after their plants anymore though.

I've kept several plants before, and I remember having one when I was younger and I got bored off it back then so I tried to kill it off but the damn thing kept going.

I guess I must have some kind of green thumb. :icon_wink

 

Well, I dunno. Maybe. I use a sleep tracker app though. Haven't noticed any breathing issues.

But I have anxiety and PTSD... So I get night terrors and weird dreams. Then I upped the dose of one of meds. So there's that.

And it figures today would be the day I actually have almost no work. Ugh. I need something to do so I'm not just feeling useless on the Internet.

I'm back!!! Hahaha, I've missed this place. So I found out my library is a 'safe place' or whatever they call it. I feel much safer here than I do at home.

 

Took forever to leave work today.

 

You know, people always bag on safe spaces. And I used to be one of them. But really, why do we give people who just want a space where they can cool off such a hard time? "oh you have to butch up and learn how to cope in the real world"? ...Like, there's a reason why we put our kids in time-out when they're being little shit heads. Separate, regroup, and come on back.

Everyone has a safe space. It's called a bedroom. It's called a community center. It's called a library. A coffee shop. The creek by their house. Even the anti-PC crowd presumably has that favorite little neighborhood bar they retreat to on a shitty Wednesday night so they can hang out with like-minded people in a place where they can feel open and included.

 

I just spent about 4 hours in public with a pony tail. Where did I go wrong?
