    Since everyone is talking about Pokemon, I'll add my story.

    When I was in middle school someone accidentally dropped over a hundred Pokemon cards in our home's sidewalk. I got them and threw them away in the trash.

    When people complain to you that you aren't participating in group activities and get annoyed but then you try to participate and they don't pay you much heed as a result, it can really piss a person off.

    Fuck I'm really going through a rough patch.

    Not only did I have a minor car crash which completely busted the car, but I just had to have an appendectomy, which I waited 24 hours for and narrowly missed a rupture. Now my torso and legs are stained with blood and I can't fly for a while, so I have to cancel a debating tournament because it involves a six-hour flight and little rest.

    On top of that, my mother had to attend a medical policy conference in another state so she won't be home to take care of me for another two days.

    I can't believe that a few of the leaves on the trees have gone brown already, and yes I know that some go brown quicker than others- and some don't at all but I was just surprised when I looked out my window before to see that a few of the leaves have gone brown, not many though but still it's surprising to see given that it's still July here, and although it has been going in and out of being sunny it doesn't seem to be that warm.

    Autumn is definitely on the way. I quite like Autumn, although we usually end up with way too many apples- and trust me, there's only so many ways you can incorporate apples into meals and dishes. The apples that grow here definitely taste better cooked, and they grow almost like weeds here in the Autumn. Last year we had about three crates of them, and we only have two apple trees.
