The kids' section at the LO library is in the basement, but the little shits' yelling somehow manages to permeate the two upper levels of the building.

Oh, well. At least I still have my room, which I try to keep as free of electronics as possible (ignoring fan, clock, and occasionally, cell phone)...

Hey, just so you know if you get your pants forcibly pulled down and your genitals grabbed and then get threatened to be accused of rape if you tell anyone afterwards that's not sexual harrasment. To call that sexual harrasment is insulting to actual victims of sexual harrasment. That's good to know. I wouldn't want to hurt people's feelings. Jesus Christ, I fucking hate people so much. Like literally the vast majority of people are horible and I hate them.

 

Apparently Comcast doesn't like me fast forwarding through commercials. It keeps crashing on me during on demand viewing.

 

I hate Comcast. As far as I'm concerned, they can go fuck themselves.

Working outside in the desert summer heat payed off, I finally bought my first professional grade camera! Can't wait to use it.

 

I did 18 assignments in my psychology class today. Gonna try and finish it this week or next week and I'll start Spanish tomorrow and try and do 2 units.

Stick the kids in the basement, that's some pretty good planning there.

Our library just looks like a retirement home. A really small one.

 

Ours was built in 1983, so it looks absolutely god-awful. That whole utilitarian post-modern aesthetic has NOT aged well.

 

Our old library was temporary closed because of mold found in the basement and then they decided to build a whole new library that is so huge it s only half filled

Oh yeah. Ours is having roof leaks and structural faults due to shoddy construction. It seems like the City of Lake Oswego can't catch a break with that. Cause the two high schools (one of which was extensively renovated from 2002-2004, and the other was completely rebuilt from 2002-2005) both had structural issues and roof leaks because of shoddy construction. Oh, and one of our elementary schools (built in 1991) has been deemed "structurally unsound", once again due to faulty construction.

Well, canceled my date tonight. Nothing came up, just wasn't feeling it. His schedule's all wonky and i don't think we have chemistry (I mean we only had sex one time like 2 years ago- and that was fine I just can't remember us having a decent conversation which I think is kinda key. If I wanted sex without commitment, I have toys for that).

Besides, I met another guy who I click a lot more with, interest/personality wise (and yes, lookswise) on a dating app. And it helps he's closer to my age.
