I have no idea if this belongs here.

But, I'm pretty panicked about this (thanks to anxiety) because the irrational side of my brain is going, "What kinda lesbian doesn't like the way a vagina looks?" Whereas the rational side, though a lot quieter, knows that a lot of people don't like the way genitalia look.

I mean, genitalia generally look a bit, like.... weird. It's not something we put up for show all the time, so it's kind of like if, let's say, you wore bras 24/7 usually, but then you took them off one day. You might be like "woah, what are these? weird..."

Personally, I don't find genitalia ugly. Especially in the heat of the moment, so to say, I find genitalia attractive. But there are certainly many areas on the human body I prefer looking at.

It's okay and normal to be a little disenchanted with genitalia.

Btw, sorry for asking, but have you had sex or so? Seeing things in a porn vid or so can be very different from sex in how you'll react to someone's genitalia.

I've heard many people say they find genitalia weird or ugly. I think it's a case of our culture unfortunately stigmatizing our bodies and making us feel ashamed of them. The shaming of genitalia is pervasive in highly developed countries, where we cover it up.

I actually believe it's not genitalia itself or anxiety that makes you find it ugly. I think it's just an effect of living in a society that shames and hates genitalia. Anxiety, mental illness, or trauma can also have an effect on how you react to genitalia, as has been the case for me.

I was averse to vulvas for a while due to being raped, but I got better, and now I'm back to liking them again. I'm a little bit scared of the aversion coming back, and I think interacting with one in person in a certain way would trigger me, but the attraction is there again.

In general I think human genitalia is awesome and beautiful. I've only ever seen penises/scrotums and vulvas (no intersex genitalia) though. I'm attracted to whatever genitalia as long as it's on a woman or a feminine nonbinary person, but I especially like genitalia like my own (penis and scrotum) for the familiarity and camaraderie.

Men's genitalia, whether it's like mine, a vulva, or any kind of intersex genitalia, I'm indifferent to. I don't find men sexy, so I don't find their genitals sexy, but I'm also not disgusted by them.

Basically, sex organs are cool, and they're excellent for sex. I'm sad that not everyone appreciates them like I do.

Some people have better-looking genitalia (?) particularly in the case of women.

Personally, I don't really like my own. I find my penis weird (let's say it looks somewhat different from others and leave it at that.) My boyfriend likes it, but I'd rather have his, haha.

I'm usually more concerned about hygiene than looks. BO or less than squeaky clean are a turn off.

Guess I am a bit odd, cause I like both sexes genitalia.
