 nooo this stuff made me laugh a bit, but is really interesting, i am only going to name the ones i remember from it, Frozen: Elsa  i don't know but wouldn't it be a bit hard to find someone while she copes with her turbo ice powers? can't say, maybe Hans will be a good match for Elsa  i don't remember who the guy in the inn was, and Merida did not strike me as lesbian  i love Merida haha, i think she just was reluctant with the entire protocole of dealing with arranged marriages tradition but now, who knows :roflmao: ps: i love both movies, and Merida rocks anyways

Y'all might be severely reaching on some of these...but I can tell you that Terk isn't gay. In the Tarzan television series, her sexuality was confirmed in episode 9's 'The Enemy Within' where she has a crush on a male gorilla named Gobu.

Would also like to point out that she became incredibly jealous of Tarzan when he started hanging out more with Jane, so I like to think she had a crush on him.

I'm sorry, but "how" exactly do straight girls walk? Nothing against this thread, and I'm actually all for "shipping" but a lot of this is very stereotypical :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Not sure if this is much relation to Disney, but according to Doctor Who write R. T. Davis, 13% of the characters are LGBT but we just don't know about it because it's not important to the story line and therefore not mentioned.

Could we apply this logic to every 'universe'?

This is kind of a theory on how some straight girls or lesbians walk.

I could be wrong but Brave is actually based of Ann Irish story or tale of a princess who refused to marry and later went on to have a relationship with her maid.
But again I could be wrong since I can't remember where I read that.

I love the analysis of characters' sexualities, but yet I feel like it'll be a while until Disney has an out main character... Besides the US, Russia is a big Disney supporter (I don't think supporter is the right word but I can't think of it right now) and they're still sadly, homophobic. But I do agree with Elsa, I'm a fan of #GiveElsaAGirlfriend

Forgive me if I don't hold that as hard evidence

    >_> I think that all of those characters except Merida, Gaston, and Nakoma could possibly be gay... but I think it's silly to guess the sexual orientation of fake characters, especially those in kids' films. I mean, there are moments in some shows where they intentionally try to make you question a char's sexual orientation, but as far as I'm aware, Disney doesn't try to do that... The genie's totally gay though.

That general in Mulan. Pretty attracted to "Ping" if you know what I mean.

Merida definitely comes to mind! She was my favourite disney princess because of her tomboyishness and fierceness!

*Cough* Cruella Deville. She obviously had a thing for Anita, her former schoolmate. They had nothing in coming and she couldn't stand Anita's husband, Rodger, so what other reason would she have for keeping in touch? Plus, the character was kinda drag queenish (okay, VERY) and I think the voice actress might have been gay in real life, or she was popular in the gay community. I can't remember exactly.

    Maleficent?
