I'm a trans guy that suffers from chronic pain everyday (doctors think it might be fibro) and I was just wondering if there were other people here going through similar things. Any other spoonies here?
Sorry to hear you're having to go through this, but I'm also glad to see a fellow spoonie here =) I'm technically in remission from juvenile rheumatoid arthritis since December, but still having chronic pain, fatigue, brain fog, headaches... just generally being pretty sick. My doctors are also considering fibro but the current theory is that it's a combination of my nerves being used to picking up on pain signals for so long that the signals just never stopped going off even though the disease is gone (nerve memory) and mental health problems making it worse. And I also have type one diabetes but it doesn't really bother or limit me compared to the other problems.
Post viral chronic fatigue here. And I guess my injury triggered pain is considered chronic now, I've had that from 3-6 years depending on location. Plus we've hit winter now, so my body is hating life.
I suffer from chronic pain due to Marfan syndrome. My joints are really weak. I work 8 hours a day standing and/or walking a lot, and honestly, it only makes things worse.
I suffer from chronic migraines, does that count? No official diagnosis yet, but I do take meds for it.
I don't know how about you all, but my legs keep aching all the time ._. possibly because I walk and stand a lot at work. Not good for someone with a disorder that causes pain.
Mostly my feet. And at times my back. And the constant tightness in shoulders. Trapesious muscles. Pain was finally treated with some intense massage ongoing for months.
