Primarily, I am socially-left-- pretty far left, at that; having read the works of Noam Chomsky, the closest label I can make for myself is a "libertarian socialist." I do agree with the right on some issues, but not many. I find it difficult to pinpoint precisely what my political standpoint is.

I took the test, knew before I got the answer, I am right f the spectrum and libertarian. I believe church and state be separate, the government should stay out of bedrooms, honestly I believe the government should stay out of our day to day lives..both parties are becoming WAY to authoritarian but at the same time anarchy would not help the situation. Didn't like Sanders...this country would be more broke as far as money if he won...don't like Trump, he is using the Republican Party as only a means to an end, he is also a xenophobe. Big Donald I don't know what country your tree originated from, but you would probably saw it down. Hilary = liar. A moderator...can't remember who...said we should look at each case individually and I totally agree. I am religious but believe in state/church separation...I also am pro choice even though I dislike abortion. all I would say with my age is if you butch and don't vote, I don't feel sorry for you. Study the issues of each politician, if they aren't clear probably shouldn't vote for them...dig deep and vote also there is no place for discrimination ANYWHERE in the world. (*hug*) to you all (!)

I'm pretty left. Used to be very political active in the green party, not really active nowadays. If I decided to I'd probably join a party more on the left side.

I tend to vote for extreme left wing parties, it just feels to me a more empathetic and caring political point of view. Ideally governments would focus on reducing suffering and being supportive of the population. I do believe in government intervention to promote equality and so every person might live a fulfilling life.

Oh my god I just noticed my numbers are missing the minus signs. *shudders*

    So here's a clarification:
    Economic Left/Right: -9.75
    Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.1

The pic probably made my stance clear the first time, but I'm clearing it up anyway just to be on the safe side.

I would probably end up somewhere on the left, though more towards the center. I'm not a fan of the whole right vs left mentality. The more extreme elements on both sides are more similiar than they like to think.

That sounds wise. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: Tbh, I very much dislike the Green Party (Miljöpartiet). They're just 100% ideology - big in words, limp in reality - in my opinion. Even the Left Party is too right-wing for me, so if I'd get politically active I'd probably join Everything for Everyone or the like.

I would, by most people, be considered more left than rightwing.
Personally however, I judge issues on their own merrits and try to avoid ideology and dogma as much as possible.

I don't hate the Democratic Party as much as you do but I can relate in that I don't like them all that much either. I'm left-leaning but the main reason I support the Democratic Party is because I can't stand the Republican Party one bit.
