    Kennedy chuckled. "It's alright...me either." Their eyes slightly tinted blue. "At least in this case, it's more like keeping them away instead of trying to engage in social activities." They smirked a bit.

    Kennedy heard the sharp crack of a door being knocked down. They tensed and took Gray's hand. "We should probably move...quickly." With that, they took off running up the stairwell, knowing it would be much more reliable than an elevator at this point.

    Gray followed Kennedy, their weak legs barely keeping up with Kennedy's strong ones. Still, they kept pace, breathing normally due to their powers. They were bringing more oxygen to their mouth so it was easier to breathe.

    Kennedy pulled Gray up to the entryway. Seeing the two new arrivals, they froze in place for a moment. These must be... Their eyes darted back and forth between the two. Armor's probably the one Minerva has a bone to pick with...so... They locked eyes with Jeb. That's the one we've gotta clear. He probably knows us...so we need to...

    "Move," they mumbled, and their eyes flared blue, lessening gravity's pull on them. They flashed a cocky grin to Jeb and called out to him. "Mornin', sunshine!!! Wanna play a game? I like to call it 'Cat and mouse'. Catch us if ya can!!!" With that, they picked Gray up in their arms again and practically glided across the ground quickly, darting out of the door and away from the building.

    Gray glanced around, trying to find a way around the two of them, but as soon as Kennedy scooped them up into their arms, their mind quieted. They sat in Kennedy's arms blankly, barely about to comprehend anything.

    Kennedy's eyes widened. Well shit...I think this might just work... Adrenaline started to kick in, forcing an excited grin to crack across their face. The adrenaline rush seemed to distract them a bit too much for comfort.
