The most relevant place on this forum I thought to post something like this.

Anyway so I like being a twink and I like having clean shaven skin on my thighs and bikini area. I used nair and it worked fine. The problem is now my legs are growing back hair again and they decided to become ingrown in some spots.

How do you treat this or prevent it? I can take a pic but I don't think anyone wants to see.

Sometimes an ingrowing hair can be tweezed out or lightly pushed out but they can be too difficult if they have started curling back under the skin. Don't pick at it or squeeze as it can lead to infection.

I'm not aware of any way to prevent it if you use removal cream but for a long term solution, maybe consider laser hair removal.

I didn't think this was common with hair removal cream, shows how much I know xD.
I shave that area personally and only end up with shaving burn at worst, maybe a few in-grown hairs on my thighs, but they usually "work themselves out" kinda?

Yes always exfoliate all the areas you shave. Very essential!!

Exfoliating is rubbing the skin right?

Yes I guess so. Its to remove any dead skin. You could use a scrub and a loofah while in the shower. Or a brush designed to exfoliate. I'd recommend a sensitive skin moisturizer if you haven't applied one yet.

I'm guessing it's difficult for me because I'm a guy. Or genetics just decided to not let me shave myself without getting red bumps each time.

Another thing you can do on top of exfoliating is make sure you use a good skin lotion after you shower everyday. Not only softens your skin but makes you hair less coarse. Dealt with this problem for years. Skin management is the key

Less coarse hair would definitely make my hairs not be ingrown. I've never considered using lotion after a shower.

Don't go with laser at this point. Your tastes might change later on and you might decide you want to have the hair later in life!

I am trying wax next time I do. I think ripping the hair out will have a different effect than chemically loosening the bonds in the hair so they fall out.

I've fought and dealt with myself. Baby Powder after shaving and the next few days does wonders!

I use an epilator for my legs (at the moment I'm scared to use it for private areas) and ingrown hairs are not unheard of for me. I generally use a soft shower gel (try Dove or Nivea) with my bath scrub ball and it does exfoliate quite efficient. However I don't advise to do it very frequently as it can irritate the skin. Creams/body oils are also really useful after exfoliating when the skin tends to get a bit dry. Good luck!

I have been seeing improvement from exfoliating with a shower sponge/loofah. I got one of those Axe brand sponges that come in red or blue (don't know if they sell those anymore).

And apply skin lotion to my legs after I shower.
