How do most guys feel about girls?

Oh man, I feel like I'm in the minority here, and I certainly don't want to come across as really shallow...hmm...

I have a friend (who's straight) and were once had a conversation about crushes. I started talking about this girl who I'd had a crush on, but how I fond out that she smoked (a definite no-no with my asthma), I was put off her. Also, about how she was straight so it'd wouldn't have worked out anyway for obvious reasons.

So we ended up getting into a conversation about how close we were with our crushes, and she went on about having to have an emotional connection to guys before she fell for them- that she wouldn't notice them physically before bonding with them emotionally first. I was really surprised at this, but from reading this thread I've gathered that maybe that perspective isn't all that uncommon.

I tend to notice girls physically first, which makes me want to get to know them emotionally-wise better. Usually I'll notice if a girl is cute from the get-go, these feelings will usually bury themselves for a while until she does something really sweet/does something funny then in which case the feelings will resurface and I'll fall hard for her.

I have had crushes on proper arse-holes, something of which I hate myself for. I guess more of an infatuation than a crush in those cases though, but I usually get over them after a while thankfully.

I always assumed that straight guys felt about girls the same way that gay men feel towards guys.

Some really like the good looking ones while others care for personality over looks (not that looks don't draw them in as well.)

Well, as shown by this thread, men are usually sexually more visual than women, while women are sexualy more complex. This is likely do to evolutionary factors.

A guy is turned on by a woman with a body (and face) that appeals to him regardless of how a good or bad person she is. ¿How much? This varies a lot, but overall is stronger than in women.
In my case it is very strong, and it complicate things as it makes me more picky (with is higly incovenient as im not good at turning women on cause im too shy , sort socialy awkard and inexperienced...but ehatever, at least it will motivate me to do some self improvement)

Watching nice boobs , nice curves and things just in the harmony that appeals to you, just makes a guy a desire of fondling, touching, hugging, squishing, sucking etc.... It turns on a straigh guy a lot. I imagine the same happens when a gay guy sees a hot guy. Like a visceral primitive feeling.

Well, boobs are awesome. I don't really know how to explain it.....

I'm more of a butt guy though. If a girl or guy has a cute butt....help. And girls with dark/medium shade of red hair, OMG.

That being said, personality can also be a HUGE turn on. The girl I like at work, isn't the type I would normally be into, physically. She's cute, don't get me wrong, but she's also very slender, with very little in the t&a department. But she's got a very cute, quirky personality and is very sweet, which is why I like her.

 

I know I'm not a *straight* girl, but in terms of guys, it's the same as it is with girls: personality first, everything else later. Then again, I am most likely on the asexual spectrum... Somewhere.

That said, what I notice physically about guys tends to have a facial basis.

 

ok i see boobs and im like yeeea! (!) pretty stoked..and maybe feel like alittle sexually aroused fantasizing off of it (what it would be like if i knew her and liked her and saw her boobs for the first time then touching and what id wanna do to her) but in order for me to really feel i want to touch that girl i have to know her and be into her...seeing porn or pictures and stuff im only turned on by fantasizing from there but if a girl came up to me specifically and only me cuz she liked me and wanted to be with me and showed me her lady parts.....mmm yeaa....huge girl boner...
