"A book that isn't good enough to be read twice isn't good enough to read once."

Even though there are a ton of books on my tbr list, I always find myself going back to my favorite books. I know that they won't disappointment me, and there will be a good plot and character development.

Yes indeed. Music, shows, movies, books... A favourite can only be called a favourite when it has been fully absorbed (is experienced multiple times to make sure I didn't miss anything).

TV shows I've seen more than once:
    > Doctor Who (seasons 2-4 twice, 5-8 three times, 9 twice)
    > Sherlock (twice)

I've redone a lot of movies, but some regulars have been:
    > The Matrix Trilogy
    > The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy
    > The Dark Knight Trilogy
    > Sherlock Holmes 1 & 2

    Books:
    > 1984 by George Orwell (twice)
    > The Door Within by Wayne Thomas Batson (three times)
    > Hamlet by Shakespeare (three times)

Music I relisten to the most often. If I find a good song, thank God I wear earphones, because it will be on repeat until you want to cut your ears off.

I don't consider mastery or full understanding of a thing unless it has been experienced at least twice.

I don't really re-read much. Not because I don't like the book, but because the emotions I had at the time of reading it aren't there again when I re-read normally. I can re-read LOTR, Narnia, Artemis Fowl and Harry Potter till the cows come home. But some books I read and its 'there and then'. I don't like re-watching films that have massive plot twists because I only get excited by them once eg Speed. But animated films make me go on emotional journeys everytime I watch them eg. Finding Nemo. I think it really depends on how I felt the first time I read/watched it.

The only books I've ever re-read are, "Impulse", and, "Perfect" by Ellen Hopkins.
