I love learning languages! If I had more time and focus I'd like to learn every language. I've taken over 4 years of Spanish, a year of French (forgot most of it) can speak pretty fluent Dovah. I'm currently trying to learn Japanese and Cherokee, it's slow progress.

Oooh I'm also trying to learn Scottish Gaelic to connect to my cultural heritage. I wish there was a class nearby I could take.

I want to pick up on learning German again. I learnt some German at school, but was unfortunately a few marks off a C. I was getting B's in my speaking assessments, but when it came to writing I wasn't doing so well, so I ended up getting a D overall. I think it's a shame how things turned out really, and I want to start picking up on it again.

I'd also like to learn Filipino, mainly because my auntie in law speaks it and I see quite a few posts in Filipino to her friends on my Facebook page because of it. And being the nosy person that I am, I'd like to understand the posts someday. Or maybe I'm better off not knowing. Depends what the posts are about I guess.

I'd like to learn Arabic as well, as a friend of mine used to teach us how to write in Arabic. I found it slightly easier to learn compared to some of my friends, but that's probably just because I'm left-handed so it's actually easier writing right to left for me because I can actually see what I'm actually writing for once.

I've read a few Japanese translated into English comics before as well, so much in fact that whenever I see an advert for such comics I tend to read right to left without thinking about it anymore. So yeah, I guess I could add Japanese to this list.

I find Italian quite a beautiful language to listen to as well.

What the heck, just why not all the languages? XD  JK, but seriously though there's so many that I'd like to learn but probably never will. :eusa_doh:

I want to learn a crazy amount of languages! A few of them being
Greek (While I can basically understand majority of the language when I hear people speaking it, I haven't been able to speak it ever myself, and I have never learnt how to read or write it, so would love to make that connection)
Japanese (I spent a month over there, and met so many beautiful people that I want to be able to fully communicate with. I also wanted to find out more about the beautiful culture as well)
German (used to do it at school, loved it but they just taught way too fast for me to pick up on all of it)
Russian ( I love the sound of the language, it reminds me a lot of the sounds that are made in the greek language and just the roughness of it)
Korean ( again, I love the sound of the language, and its uniqueness to the other languages in the Asian area)

My only issue with languages is that I am terrible at learning them, i need to spend ages on it before i can grasp simple concepts. and i begin to lose interest in learning when i cant make logical sense of it. So the likelihood of me ever achieving the feat is pretty unlikely :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Japanese. Cause dang it I'm tired of having to real subs on undubbed anime lol. If I knew Japanese I could just watch anime without the subtitles. Honestly I do prefer dubbed though.

Ancient Egyptian (because I worship an Egyptian demigod and want to pray to him in his own language), German, Russian, and maybe Japanese.

What can I say, I'm ambitious.

American Sign Language because my partner knows enough to hold basic conversations in and it interests me, and enough Spanish for practical purposes.
